2007 brings new directions in my life. After 30 years of dedicating my life to the dogs, I am retiring and will no longer be doing any breeding. Until last year I had not been on a vacation in 19 years. I have enjoyed meeting all of you over these years and will at times miss it, but my knees and wrists are telling me it is time to move on. You can still reach us by e-mail but the rest of the web site will be inactive till around October of this year when the website will no longer exist.

Whippets are gentle, sensitive, and affectionate dogs. They are generally very quiet and easy to groom and care for in the house. However, as premier canine athletes, they require short periods of vigorous exercise almost daily, and do best where they can either run in a safely fenced yard, or be taken on leash to a secure park or field for play sessions with balls and frisbees. Whippets, like all other sighthounds, are visually oriented and love to chase objects (like rabbits and squirrels) which they may see at a distance.
